3rd

The new Canon EF-S 24mm f/2.8 ‘pancake’ lens is the slimmest and lightest EF-S lens to date and features a ‘fast’ maximum aperture and stepping motor for near silent autofocus

Canon EF-S 24mm f/2.8 STM Specification: ‘Fast’ aperture and stepping motor for video

Compatible with APS-C DSLRs like the new Canon EOS 7D Mark II or EOS 1200D, but not full frame bodies like the EOS 1D X, the new Canon EF-S 24mm f/2.8 STM prime lens offers an equivalent 38mm focal length. A focal length favoured by many street photographers, the new lens’s unobtrusive ‘pancake’ design will appeal to those who want to shoot light and quickly. The fast f/2.8 maximum is perfect for shooting in poor lighting conditions too, and for videographers the new len’s stepping motor (STM) offers near silent autofocus operation during video capture.

The new Canon EF-S 24mm f/2.8 STM ‘pancake’ lens is available nor for pre order priced at $149.
